Embrace the cold with a WHCIS custom pint of ice cream!!!

Gracie’s Ice Cream in Union Square has collaborated with PTA to provide us with a free batch of ice cream, attributed to our school.

But what should we name this batch of ice cream? You can NOMINATE A NAME and reserve your pint today with this donation form!

Voting will be in early January, pints available for pickup at Gracie's in mid January!

Winter Hill PTA works most directly with the families of the Winter Hill Community Innovation School. We also collaborate with other Somerville PTAs to support the development of all children and youth in the city.

Things We Do:

1. Support teachers and staff in creating a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment where every child is recognized as unique individuals, and challenged to learn and grow into thoughtful, caring and engaged young adults.

2. Celebrate WHCIS children and families via creating connections within the school and with the community at large.

3. Enrich student learning via classroom support, field trips and OST/academic enrichment.

4. Encourage parents to be involved in the school.

5. Inform parents and partners about issues that affect student success.

6. Advocate for the education, health, welfare and safety of all children as we work with other Somerville PTAs.
