Right now, food insecurity is rising in every borough. With massive federal cuts to SNAP looming, an estimated 1.8 million New Yorkers are at risk of going hungry. A growing burden is already falling on neighborhood-based groups working with shrinking resources.

CitizensNYC has long supported grassroots food justice leaders, and we’re proud to be working hand in hand with two trusted partners—Love Wins NYC and the Staten Island Hunger Task Force—to meet this moment together.

These organizations serve food-insecure New Yorkers across all five boroughs. But they aren’t just distributing food. They’re mobilizing New Yorkers to volunteer and care for one another, building communities that are stronger, more connected, and more resilient.

Every dollar raised will go directly to Love Wins NYC and the Staten Island Hunger Task Force, getting critical resources into the hands of the neighbors feeding our neighbors with dignity and love.
