This is the New Shoe Day fundraiser for the 50th running of the IU Health 500 Festival Mini-Marathon and Delta Dental 500 5K on May 2, 2026!

New Shoe Day is on a mission to end shoe insecurity in Indiana, so all of our youth have access to safe footwear that empowers them to thrive. We see an Indiana where no child is limited by lack of proper footwear and every young person has the access, confidence, and dignity to fully engage in school, play, and community life.

We know that training for the Mini is a major accomplishment that takes dedication and hard work, but fundraising for a cause alongside it gives deeper purpose and meaning to every moment. Every dollar raised will help supply new shoes to kids in need and also raises awareness about this basic need that often goes overlooked.
