The Pride Deadlift Party has come to New York City - a deadlift meet, a dance party, and a community celebration all in one. Every dollar raised goes directly to two organizations doing real, tangible work for LGBTQ+ New Yorkers:

Brooklyn Community Pride Center is Brooklyn's leading provider of LGBTQ+ affirming space, programming, and resources. They run dozens of programs across the borough: from sports and fitness to faith, family, and mental health; serving LGBTQ+ Brooklynites in every community they call home. Right now, when so many people are feeling fear and uncertainty, BCPC is showing up as a place of connection, healing, and joy. That work matters more than ever.

New Pride Agenda is a New York-based advocacy organization working to protect and expand the rights of LGBTQ+ New Yorkers — particularly those who are most marginalized. They've helped pass landmark legislation, repeal laws that were used to target trans people, and secure millions in funding for trans health and wellness across the state. They turn community need into policy change.

If you're lifting, aim to raise $1 for every pound you pull (Lifting 200lbs = raise $200). It's a simple, powerful way to connect your lift to your impact.

The NYC Pride Deadlift Party will be hosted at Murder of Crows Barbell Club, 1010 Dean St, Brooklyn — in Crown Heights, off the Franklin Ave C train. The event runs from noon until 5pm. Funds are collected and distributed by Rain City Powerlifting Union, a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit. 100% of proceeds go directly to our beneficiaries.
