Harry Chapin Food Bank, an affiliate of Feeding America, is the leading hunger-relief organization in Southwest Florida. The food bank solicits, collects and stores food for distribution to families and others in need through a network of more than 150 nonprofit agencies in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Glades and Hendry counties, providing food to about 28,000 people a week.

For every dollar donated, the food bank can provide $8 in food value. In fiscal year 2018-19, the Harry Chapin Food Bank distributed nearly 26.7 million pounds of food and other grocery items, including 6.4 million pounds of fresh produce. The food, valued at $43.2 million, is the equivalent of 22.2 million meals for people in need.

About Naples Newcomers Club North

The Naples Newcomers Club North welcomes and brings together women who are new or want to make new friends in Naples Florida. We recognize that moving to a new place can be a daunting experience. The Naples Newcomers Club North is here to help you form new friendships as you ease into your new life by offering an array of activities in a group setting, where you can meet other women who share your interests. Activities range from card games to reading, sports, wine tasting, dining...and lots more.

We currently have over 130 members, including seven board members who serve one-year terms beginning each January 1st and approximately 40 volunteers, serving as new member ambassadors, luncheon registrars, and activity chairpersons.
