The Neil G. Shastri Foundation (NGS) was established to honor the life and legacy of Neil G. Shastri, who was lost in the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center.

In the days following the loss of our beloved brother, son, husband, cousin, grandson, colleague, and friend, Neil G. Shastri, in the attacks of September 11, 2001, family and friends made a commitment: to honor Neil's memory by carrying forward the values that defined his life.

What began as a tribute to Neil's generous spirit, love of learning, and commitment to helping others has grown into the NGS Foundation, an organization dedicated to expanding educational opportunities, supporting underserved communities, and promoting volunteerism. For 25 years, the Foundation has transformed remembrance into action, creating meaningful impact in the lives of students, families, and communities.

As we mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we invite you to join us for a special evening of remembrance, connection, and gratitude. Together, we will honor Neil's life, reflect on the enduring legacy of those we lost, celebrate the impact made possible through the support of our community, and look ahead to the future with hope and purpose.
