Founded in 2019, Halfway Home Animal Rescue Team's (HHART) mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and find loving homes for animals in distress or at risk of losing their lives. We help all kinds and breeds; dogs, cats, small animals, even pigs. Seniors, special needs, those with critical medical problems, the unwanted and the discarded are all our priority.

Night of Compassion is our prime fundraiser of the year. We depend on its success to help pay the medical bills incurred saving all the animals that others often say no to helping. We pull animals from city shelters and many are suffering from conditions that went untreated for years. Others are sick from the stress and conditions of shelter life. Some need surgery and specialized care to regain their health.

Success to us translates to more sick animals made healthy, neglected animals given care, discarded animals given love.
