Flash floods have torn through Nuwakot and the surrounding districts of Nepal, destroying homes, roads, and livelihoods overnight. If you're able to support the relief effort, you can donate here.

NIVAS spent several years working alongside 26 families in Nuwakot, helping them build new homes and small businesses and partnering closely with their communities. This disaster has struck a place, and people, we know well.

Our team's expertise is construction, not emergency response. So for immediate food, water, and care needs we're working through trusted local partners who specialize in that work, while we focus on rebuilding.

Every gift to this campaign goes directly toward immediate aid, helping families who have lost their homes or their source of income begin to recover.
