The New Jersey GSA Coalition is a student-led organization made up of high school GSA (Gender and Sexualities Alliance) leaders from all over New Jersey. Our goal is to build a community that can provide support and uplift one another. We are also one branch of the Campaign 4 Gender Inclusivity (C4GI), which is a student-led 501(c)(3) organization working to educate about, advocate for and create safe spaces for transgender and non-binary youth.

We decided to embark on the process of hosting an LGBTQ Prom for high school students across New Jersey to both continue building community and celebrate identity, specifically those that are often overlooked. We hope that this event will be a space where LGBTQ youth know they are safe, welcome and encouraged to be themselves.
