We spent a Christmas in a hospital room.

Surgery. Round-the-clock monitoring. No tree. No presents. No “home for the holidays.”

We couldn’t leave. Her needs came first. They always do.

That’s what CHD does. It doesn’t check the calendar. It doesn’t pause for December 25th. And for families living it right now in a hospital room, in recovery, in the middle of a fight they didn’t choose Christmas can feel impossible.

We don’t want another family to ever feel that.

This Christmas, we’re helping CHD families with three things they actually need:

Gas cards — for the drive back and forth to the hospital, appointments, and follow-up care.

Food cards — so no one has to choose between a hospital cafeteria meal and groceries for the family at home.

presents - so parent’s can give their child Christmas presents themselves.

because no parent should have to tell their child there’s nothing under the tree this year. They know their child best. They should be the one picking out what’s under that tree.

No family should have to choose between gas money and groceries. Between a gift for their child and a meal on the table. This year, they won’t have to.

We’re not chasing a number. We’re just trying to reach as many families as we can one Christmas, one warrior, one family at a time.
