Hands On Missions is taking a local church group to Nova Scotia, Canada from September 5th-10th.

Nova Scotia is an East Coast Canadian province surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean with a population of over 1 million people and Halifax as it's capital. It is known as "Canada's Ocean Playground" because no where in the province is more than 35 miles from sea and host 3,800 coastal islands surrounding it.

The weather in Nova Scotia is typically seen with mild winters and cool summers. English is the primary language but you may hear French, Scottish Gaelic and Mi'kmaq languages spoken as well. The culture is mixed with Celtic, Acadian, Mi'kmaq and African Nova Scotian roots.

While Christianity remains the largest religious affiliation, secularism and non-Christian faiths are growing in popularity. Many people are choosing to identify with no religion.

Hands On Missions is preparing a local church team to collaborate with Kings Table Church in Halifax to evangelize in their local area.

Objectives of this trip include:

Hallifax boardwalk evangelism
Transit stops of evangelism
Athletic competition clinics including evangelism
Small group enhancements
Campus ministry at Dalhousie University & St. Mary's University
