Organizations serving girls and gender-expansive youth*, especially those of color, are doing vital, irreplaceable work in our communities. Yet over the past year, they have been among the nonprofits hardest hit by federal policy shifts, budget cuts, and the weight of today's political climate.

Alliance for Girls (AFG) is an alliance of over 120 organizations serving girls and gender-expansive youth across the Bay Area and Los Angeles County, united by a commitment to building communities where young people, especially girls and gender-expansive youth of color, are valued, respected, and safe.

Since 2025, AFG has conducted an annual Political Impact Study tracking how these organizations are navigating this unprecedented moment. The findings are critical — but they aren't reaching the decision-makers, funders, and advocates who need to understand them most.

That's what this campaign is about.

We're raising $20,000 to launch a communications campaign that will amplify AFG's 2026 Political Impact Study, putting this data in front of the people with the power to act on it, and making a compelling case for the funding and policy support this sector urgently needs.

Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, we're already halfway there. We need just $10,000 more by June 30, 2026.
