Fundación Nuqanchik is a community center in Arbieto, Cochabamba that can feed as many as 120 children in one day and serves families from more than thirteen rural communities. Mothers call it “our second home.”

Keep the water running

Nuqanchik uses approximately 10,000 liters of water each month. Water is used to prepare meals, wash hands and dishes, maintain family gardens, and keep the center’s daily programs operating.

The $10,000 campaign goal remains unchanged. Refresh Bolivia will report progress as each line is completed. If the water line is fully funded, additional gifts support electricity and then the next open Nuqanchik priority.

Other costed campaign priorities

Social Accompaniment Program — approximately $3,907. This restarts a professional social worker, transport for home visits, family communication, and a solidarity fund for urgent needs after previously committed funding was withdrawn.

Electricity — approximately $857 for six months. This becomes the next operating priority after water.

Internet — $129 for six months — FUNDED.

Site security — approximately $3,693. Cameras, an alarm, window and door bars, and replacement doors remain valid needs before the live-in caretaker family moves, but water and electricity lead current donor messaging.
