Your gift is more than support—it’s a solution. Before we opened the Bernard and Audre Rapoport Vision Center, only about 5% of Waco ISD students who failed vision screenings received follow-up care. We’re bridging that gap with free exams, transportation, and glasses.

Since 2018, we’ve given 1,266 exams and delivered 1,108 pairs of glasses, transforming how students see and engage with the world. Last year, we increased the percentage of students receiving follow-up care to 28% and aim to double by May 2025.

The impact is immediate and life-changing. One student recently exclaimed, “Oh my gosh, I can see my friends’ faces down the hall!” after receiving their first pair of glasses. Vision care isn’t just about better eyesight—it’s about improving a student’s learning ability, helping them build confidence, and creating a brighter future.
