For five decades, CitizensNYC has helped New Yorkers come together and improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods. We receive thousands of applications from community leaders across the city, and thanks to generous supporters like you we are able to make hundreds of microgrants for community-led initiatives every year.

The community leaders we support are the ones creating community gardens, food pantries, sports mentorship programs, creative arts initiatives, health workshops for seniors, and so much more. They are the small business owners providing opportunities and centers of community in their neighborhoods.
