I’m Bridget, and I’m running the New York City Marathon! After college, I never thought I’d run again. Four half marathons later, I knew a full was next and NYC was the only one I dreamed of.
I used to watch NYC Marathon TikTok’s and wonder if I’d ever be part of something so special. After being denied through the lottery twice, I chose a different path. The one that lets me chase this dream while giving back to my community.
I’m proud to run in support of Family and Children’s Association, which provides help and hope to vulnerable children, families, seniors, and communities across Long Island. This race is more than 26.2 miles to me—it’s a chance to make a real impact close to home.
