This event brings together former CU Buffs, community leaders, and caring supporters to raise funds for two meaningful causes: The Tivis Project and the Coach Bill McCartney Scholarship Fund.

The Tivis Project is committed to walking alongside families facing the unimaginable grief of baby loss through miscarriage, stillbirth, and early infant loss. Through its signature initiative, Totes of Hope, the project provides comfort packages filled with keepsakes, support resources, and tokens of remembrance—helping families honor the babies they hold in their hearts, even when they can’t hold them in their arms. This tender mission ensures no grieving parent walks alone, and that every precious life is remembered with love and dignity.

Alongside this, the tournament also supports the Coach Bill McCartney Scholarship Fund, honoring the legendary CU football coach and his lifelong commitment to mentorship, education, and leadership. The fund provides scholarships to student-athletes who embody Coach Mac’s values—strength of character, perseverance, and service to others.
