This Giving Tuesday, we’re setting a goal of $15,000 to sustain vital programs for the Karimojong women and children we serve in Kampala.

The Karimojong community is an ethnic minority facing extreme hardships - from displacement due to climate and conflict to intense prejudice and food insecurity. These challenges heighten the risks of trafficking, family separation, and gender-based violence.

The Nachan Project is committed to breaking this cycle. With your help, we’ll ensure consistent food security and protective support for over 250 women-led households - that’s 1,500 lives.

• Sustained food support for multiple months, directly reducing the risk of trafficking and violence.

• Mindful Street Tailoring & Business Training resources: we’re partnering with Street Business School (SBS) to train 60 women over the next 5 months, equipping them with sustainable skills and income.

• Provide 300 pairs of high-quality leggings for women supporting daily mobility, dignity, and safety.

• Psycho-social and mindfulness support, helping these families heal and rebuild resilience.
