🌟 Be a Giving Tuesday Hero, join us in our goal to reduce food insecurity, food waste, and homelessness in Los Angeles 🌟

Your help will also support the expansion of our Community Exchange into a new, larger space that will allow us to rescue and distribute more food to Angelenos in need! Our Collaborative Food Hub will expand food access across LA County by establishing a food recovery and distribution warehouse and providing shared infrastructure for food producers and recovery groups to work together.

Who do we help, you may ask? These are just a few of the over 145 organizations we serve through our Community Exchange. Here's how Hunger Action Los Angeles, for example, uses the food distributed by HoFoCo:

💪 Here's how you can make a difference:

🌟 Donate: Every dollar you give fuels our efforts and brings us closer to our goal.

🚀 Share: Use your voice to ignite a change. Share our campaign far and wide! hofoco.org/giving-tuesday

🙌 Fundraise: Be a fundraising superstar! Start your own peer-to-peer campaign and inspire your network to join our cause.

Every dollar during this Giving Tuesday will be matched up to $10,000 by Joel Jacob, one of our generous supporters!

Help us unlock an additional $15,000 matching gift from our partners at Waymo when we reach $35,000 in donations!

The highest-performing fundraiser (or fundraisers!) will not only have our deepest gratitude but will also earn the title of official Hollywood Food Coalition ambassador! (That title comes with a cool, limited edition HoFoCo branded grey hoodie, mug, and 2 VIP Tickets to our Kitchen Sink Festival 2023 on December 19th in Highland Park*! )

ABOUT HOLLYWOOD FOOD COALITION

Hollywood Food Coalition is an organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity, eliminating food waste, and helping our guests connect to essential services by building trust and community.

Since 1987 we have provided hunger relief to unhoused and low-income neighbors through hot, healthy meals served every single night of the year, without fail. Since then, we have grown into a thriving meal service and food rescue operation providing meals and other basic necessities to food-insecure Angelenos.

When we share food we not only help with basic needs, but we also remind our guests of their fundamental humanity. We remind them that they are not forgotten, that somebody cares, and that they are still worthwhile members of the human family.

At our core, we actively seek to construct a more cohesive, just, and compassionate community. We serve any hungry person who walks through our door, with no exclusionary intake or prohibitive requirements that would turn them away.
