Liberation Place is a community-run hub built on dignity, trust, and reproductive justice. Every week, hundreds of individuals and caregivers walk through our doors for the things they need—no questions, no judgement, no paperwork.

Because of the way we operate, every dollar you give is amplified.
Through mutual aid (items provided by neighbors, for neighbors), we move over $80,000 worth of donated items into the community each month—diapers, formula, wipes, clothes, period products, and more.

And we provide something no other place in Wichita offers under one roof: practical reproductive justice support, including:

O-pill over the counter birth control pills, and Plan B emergency contraception
Condoms and pregnancy test kits
Referrals for prenatal care, STI testing, postpartum support
Abortion care referrals without shame or barriers

We currently serve around 200 households every week—over 800 households every month.

But here’s the truth: this model only works if the space stays open.

It costs about $6,000 each month to keep Liberation Place staffed, pay rent, and keep the lights on.
We’ve come up short the past two months, and we are dangerously close to scaling back our open hours—or closing our doors entirely.
