Imagine being a child who’s just entered foster care—pulled from everything familiar, often with nothing but the clothes on your back. It’s a moment filled with fear, confusion, and loss.

At Operation Blessing Bag, we believe that every child in foster care deserves to know this truth:
You are seen. You are loved. You are valuable.

We share that message through Blessing Bags—carefully packed duffel bags filled with brand-new essentials like hygiene items, an encouraging book, socks, a journal, and a few surprises. Sometimes, these are the first new items a child has ever owned. More importantly, it's sometimes their first time hearing that God is real and He wants a relationship with them.

This September, we have the opportunity to deliver 300 Blessing Bags to foster care agencies across Ohio. That’s 300 kids who will receive more than just items in a bag—they’ll receive hope, belonging, and a gentle reminder that someone thought of them, prayed for them, and believes they are valuable.

But we can’t do it without your help. It costs about $20 to sponsor one bag. Will you help us reach our goal of 300 Blessing Bags?

Every bag also includes a personal invitation to our S.E.E. Night events—evenings where we Support, Encourage, and Equip foster families. These nights give us a chance to build relationships, offer continued care, and remind children that they are more than a placement—they are part of a community that sees and values them.
