Have you ever wondered what would happen if you could zoom back into the childhood of someone you know and make a positive impact on their life? Would they be better off now? Would their mental health be improved? How would their life look if they graduated high school, or went on to higher education? What if they found a supportive community and belonging?

Now is your chance to make that difference. Youth theater education is statistically proven to increase confidence, community, academic success, work ethic, communication, teamwork, self-worth and so much more. Your support of Port Townsend School District's OCEAN program's production of THE HOBBIT will literally make a difference in many Jefferson County youth's lives.

Our sincere hope and goal is to provide a transformative experience - and let us not forget the impact of simply sharing joy, laughter, passion, and connection in our increasingly disconnected world.

We need to raise $11,500 to cover the costs of this production. Funds will go towards venue rental costs, costumes, set design, professional theater teaching artists, insurance, food and drinks, everything!

Your tax-deductible donation will be processed by Port Townsend School District's contracted producer of the show, the Port Townsend Youth Theater Company (EIN 99-2434242), a 501c3 non-profit created by parents of students involved in the play just for this purpose.
