Thank you for joining us for our iftar and pre-Eid party!

We invite you to dress up, be as festive as possible, and wear your best dancing shoes. DJ Zainab will spin a mix of ethno, afro beats, with hip hop. We also have a fantastic henna artist with patterns from across the Muslim world, including Morocco and South Asia, for you to choose from.

There's parking on the premises, as well as street parking

We will have amazing Yemeni food from House of Mandi with lamb, chicken, rice, salad, and hummus. Drinks will also be provided but we invite you to bring your favorite refreshment for the dance party.

Program

6:30 PM: Guests arrive

7:12 PM: Iftar

7:15 PM: Maghrib prayer (optional)

7:30 PM: Dinner is served

8:00 - 9:30 PM: Henna artist

8:30 - 11:30 PM: DJ Zainab spins

Lastly, in the spirit of charity (zakat), do bring one or two (or more!) items from the list below for donation to a local shelter:

Canned goods: Tuna, chicken, refried beans, soup, fruit, corn, broth
Dry goods: Cereal, pasta, mac & cheese, rice, beans, cup of soup, bread, chips, peanut butter, jelly, snacks, tortillas
Toiletries: Shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste
