Every dog who enters our rescue comes with a unique history, individual needs, and a future worth fighting for. Some arrive relatively healthy, needing only routine veterinary care before they're ready for adoption. Others require additional testing, medications, procedures, or treatment for medical conditions we couldn't have anticipated.

No matter their circumstances, our commitment remains the same: Every dog deserves access to the medical care they need to live a healthy, happy life.

That's why we've created The Ohana Medical Fund.

This ongoing fund is dedicated specifically to the veterinary needs of dogs in our care, helping us cover expenses such as:

🩺 Spay & Neuter Procedures: Ensuring our rescue dogs receive appropriate reproductive healthcare before adoption.
💉 Routine Veterinary Care: Wellness exams, vaccinations, heartworm testing, and other necessary screenings.
💊 Medications & Preventatives: Treatment for illnesses, infections, parasites, and ongoing medical conditions.
🐾 Diagnostic Testing & Procedures: Bloodwork, imaging, dental care, and other veterinary services.
❤️ Unexpected Medical Needs: Injuries, illnesses, emergency treatment, and medical concerns that arise without warning.
Veterinary care is one of the most significant and unpredictable expenses in rescue. Even dogs who appear perfectly healthy can require hundreds of dollars in routine care, and unexpected medical issues can quickly turn into much larger expenses.

With multiple dogs in our care at any given time, those costs add up.

Having a dedicated medical fund allows us to plan for routine procedures while maintaining a financial safety net for the unexpected.

Our goal is simple: To ensure that a dog's medical needs never go unaddressed simply because the funds aren't immediately available.

Every Donation Makes a Difference

Whether you donate $5, $25, $50, or more, your generosity helps us provide essential veterinary care to the dogs who depend on us.

This isn't a fundraiser for one particular dog or one specific medical procedure. It's an ongoing commitment to the health and well-being of every dog who comes through our rescue.

Every second chance deserves a healthy start.

Thank you for helping us care for the dogs who need us most.
