About the Oher Foundation

The Oher Foundation began with a simple yet powerful vision: to provide opportunities for underprivileged youth to succeed in life. Founded by NFL player Michael Oher, the foundation was inspired by his own challenging upbringing and the support he received from others along the way.

Growing up in poverty and facing numerous obstacles, Michael Oher understood firsthand the importance of having someone believe in you and provide the resources needed to thrive. With this in mind, he established The Oher Foundation to give back to his community and help young people overcome similar challenges.

Through mentorship programs, educational scholarships, and community outreach initiatives, The Oher Foundation has made a significant impact on countless lives. By empowering youth with the tools they need to succeed, the foundation is creating a brighter future for generations to come.
