Why ReTribe Matters to Me (and Maybe to You)

Picture this: It's Friday and I've got my windows open. What do I hear? Kids laughing and singing and shouting, drums thumping, and mentors calling out in goofy voices. That's ReTribe's Forest School program, and we've been hosting the Friday session for ten years now. 

But ReTribe isn't just Forest School. They run amazing summer camps too. And their teen retreats, that's the deep work. I've talked to kids who go and they say there's nothing else like it. They create a community where teens support each other in unpacking all that dark twisty stuff of adolescence and working through it. They can really be themselves, connect deeply, and just... breathe.

We all know kids today are dealing with a lot. They need spaces like this more than ever - to play, to grow, to figure themselves out. I wish every kid could have this.

That's why I'm here, trying to take down financial barriers so more kids can participate. Because ReTribe? It's not just fun and games (though it's definitely that too). It's the kind of experience that sticks with you.
