Old Colony Gives Back

All proceeds benefit Fostering Great Ideas, a non-profit headquartered here in Greenville, South Carolina. Fostering Great Ideas exists to restore dignity and increase stability for children and families impacted by foster care.

What Your Donation Helps Fund:

Keeping Siblings Connected

Fostering Great Ideas Sib-Link® program makes it possible for brothers and sisters separated in foster care to regularly spend time together — so those lifelong bonds stay strong.

Academic Support

Over half of children change schools when entering foster care. Tutor Match® provides each child with a volunteer tutor to help them catch up and to instill confidence in their learning.

Mentoring and Life Coaching

Through the Life Support® mentoring program, youth receive a one-on-one volunteer mentor to walk by their side through foster care — so the youth know they matter and someone cares.

..........

The Aspire™ program provides a certified life coach for young adults transitioning out of foster care. Life coaches help them apply for college, navigate budgeting, secure housing, job, and transportation and—most importantly—believe that they can tackle the challenges of adulthood.

......

Fostering Great Ideas gives a child dignity, educational guidance, family connection, and a lifelong mentor. Because no child should walk through foster care alone.

Thank you, Old Colony, for hosting this party!
