At ABC, we believe that every Jesus-follower should be equipped to offer the hope of the gospel to those who are hurting. For years, our Equipped to Counsel curriculum has been the foundation of that mission.

As you might guess, Caribbean nations have little access to practical biblical counseling education despite their great need. We plan to change that!

Dominican Republic Seminary Partnership

ABC is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Seminario Teológico de Santiago.

This partnership isn’t just about providing books; it’s about providing certification. For the first time, Spanish-speaking students will be able to complete ABC's Level 1 curriculum and receive biblical counseling certification in their own language.

To make this vision a reality, we are raising $100,000 to cover six critical needs:

Spanish Translation: Completing high-quality translation of the Equipped to Counsel curriculum gives us the potential to reach nearly 10% of the world’s population
Student Scholarships: Offsetting costs for DR seminary students mitigate financial concerns so training opportunities remain unhindered
Expert Support: Hiring a bilingual grader and supervisor will provide essential grading, support, and supervision to students
Digital Accessibility: Digitizing the curriculum gives instant access across the globe to life-changing materials without the high cost and delay of international shipping
Audio Learning: Providing an audio version of Equipped to Counsel makes training accessible to students with busy schedules, long commutes, and varying literacy levels
Continuing Education: Translating our membership resources, handouts and videos facilitates accessibility to continuing education courses

How will you partner with us to equip the next generation of biblical counselors in the Dominican Republic?

Your gift of $59 provides a copy of ETC to a student, $350 sponsors a student through certification, $500 translates handout resources for counseling, $1,000 translates training videos, and $10,000 pays for translation of ETC in another language. 🌍 Beyond the DR: Our Global Roadmap

Future Reach: While our current focus is on the urgent needs and opportunities in the Dominican Republic, this project serves as the launchpad for our global vision. The infrastructure we build today, including digital platforms and bilingual support systems, paves the way for ABC to expand into other nations waiting for these resources. We are already looking toward critical partnerships in South Africa and beginning the groundwork for translations into Romanian, Dutch, French, Korean, and Portuguese..
