The 8th One Retinoblastoma World Conference (One Rb World) takes place September 12-14, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas – preceding the 58th World Congress of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP) from September 15-18, 2026. SIOP is the primary professional organization for those working in childhood cancer and includes a track for parent and survivor advocates.

One Rb World Program

Programming for all three days of One Rb World is impactful for medical professionals, Rb families/survivors, friends, and advocates. We encourage all guests to attend the duration of the conference and we look forward to sharing the agenda and speakers lineup soon.

A Unique Event for Retinoblastoma Care

Awareness, medical care, and family support are essential to effective care of children with retinoblastoma. If any of these elements are missing, a child’s quality of life and chance of survival are dramatically reduced. Beyond cure, lifelong care is critical for individuals and families with complex impacts and risks from this cancer.

One Retinoblastoma World is a global network with the bold idea that all children with retinoblastoma and survivors can have equal access to optimal care. When diagnosed early and treated effectively, childhood eye cancer is curable. No child or survivor should die or experience avoidable suffering due to lack of access to care.

Providing unique educational and networking opportunities, this working meeting focuses on building connections and collaborations to enhance care for children, survivors, and families. Engaging clinicians, researchers, families, and survivors together fosters shared learning and novel partnerships for real-world progress.

Child Life Program

We are delighted to provide full Child Life programming throughout the conference. In this engaging and supportive space, children diagnosed with Rb, as well as their siblings and friends, will learn coping techniques for difficult medical procedures and how to navigate the big emotions that accompany a pediatric cancer diagnosis, all while having lots of fun! Led by Certified Child Life Specialist Morgan Livingstone, young attendees will gain crucial and lifelong knowledge to aid them in their medical journey.

All children are registered free of charge. However, you must provide full name and age details for each child you wish to bring to the program, as requested on your registration form. If we do not receive this information, your child will not be registered, and may not be accepted to the child life program. This ensures we will be well-prepared, and the children in our program will be safe throughout the event.

Ticket Types (All prices are in USD)

We offer a range of registration fee options to enable vital inclusive global collaboration.  Please select your ticket carefully.

Reduced rates are available for medical professionals, researchers, parents, and survivors from countries listed by the World Bank as Low-Income or Lower-Middle-Income (LIC/LMIC). These ticket prices do not apply to residents of High-Income and Upper-Middle-Income Countries (HIC/UMIC) such as the USA, Canada, and the UK. Attendees purchasing reduced rate tickets from non-qualifying countries will be refunded and asked to register at the appropriate level.

Early bird rates close on February 10, 2026, at 11:59PM CST.
Standard rates close September 1, 2026, at 11:59PM CDT.
After standard rates end, tickets will only be available at the onsite price level on the day of the event.

What is Included in the Ticket Fee?

Pre-conference social activities and evening welcome reception on Friday, September 11.
All three days of the conference. We encourage professionals, survivors and family members to attend all three days of the program for maximum benefit. Full participation fosters a deeper understanding of every aspect of retinoblastoma and nurtures a stronger global community.
Registration for the Child Life program for children diagnosed with retinoblastoma, their siblings, children of adult survivors, and children of One Rb World conference speakers and medical professionals.

Continuing Medical Education Credits

At this time, the One Retinoblastoma World Conference is unable to offer Continuing Education Credits/Units. However, we do provide a certificate of attendance post-conference, stating the dates and hours that an individual attended the conference. To request a certificate, email marissa@wechope.org.
