For years, neighbors have shared a vision for something special in Southeast Austin—a place where fruit trees provide fresh food, pollinators thrive, children learn, and neighbors gather beneath the shade of trees they helped plant.

Today, that vision is becoming a reality.

The Onion Creek Orchard has been approved by the City of Austin through the Neighborhood Partnering Program. Site preparation begins later this summer, with the first trees planned for planting this fall.

Now we're inviting you to help bring it to life.

Years of volunteer leadership, support from local businesses, partnerships with the City of Austin, and community collaboration have brought the Orchard to this exciting milestone. This campaign will fund the next critical phase as we prepare the site and plant the Orchard's first trees.

Donations are made through our fiscal sponsor, Fruitful Commons, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Every gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and every dollar designated for the Onion Creek Orchard stays with the project.
