A November production of Humperdinck’s beloved fairytale opera, Hansel & Gretel, will kick off the holiday season with whimsy and delight.
A June production of Bizet‘s monumental Carmen, with orchestra, represents Opera Arlington’s largest project yet—a fitting match for what many hold to be the most legendary opera of all time.
Concerts, recitals, and festival appearances highlighting the talents of world-class musicians based in Arlington, DFW, and beyond—including free community offerings.

A Note from the Founder

Dear Opera Arlington family,

I want to take a moment and thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your support of Opera Arlington. I believe that live opera—story-telling in music and art—is a bold act of community and humanity; that art has the power to change attitudes and lives; that music can sing to the most secret places of our hearts; and that this work can help our community become a more beautiful and compassionate place. It is a privilege to celebrate works, new and old, that are an outpouring of the human spirit from cultures and languages across the world.

Together, we have built and engaged a thriving music community in Arlington in our first two seasons. Your support continues to foster and celebrate emerging musicians, propelling them to sustainable and successful careers in an industry that too often treats singers as replaceable. Thank you for being a part of that vision.
