Foster Spuds is a senior guy, “vintage” in fact. As with many older dogs, he is pretty easy to care for.

He keeps his zoomies to a minimum, although he does like a good dance party. He probably helped light up a rave or two in his heyday. He definitely spent many a night overseeing last call. He was widely known to be a “party animal” in the 80’s and 90’s. You know, the “late 1900’s”.

What else do you need to know?

He doesn’t eat much, sometimes it seems he doesn’t eat at all.

He’s potty trained, though he never asks to go out. Also he has a strict no going out in the rain policy (electrical concerns).

He doesn’t pull on a leash, but he is stubborn and prefers to be carried. Typical Bull Terrier nonsense.

He had one bath upon arrival and has stayed clean ever since. At his age he has some missing fur, or some may call it paint. It gives him character.

He had fun with his foster siblings, except that sketchy one who keeps trying to use him as a chew toy. That said, he’s ready to bust out and find his forever family.

He’s dog/kid/cat/iguana/everything friendly. He’s what we refer to in the rescue biz as a “unicorn”.

His bags are packed and he’s anxiously awaiting his Forever Family! He didn’t have room in his suitcase for all his treasured possessions, so he’ll be sharing some signature drink-ware with two applicants.

Spuds is currently fostered in South Carolina. As with all of our dogs, he will be transported, or perhaps “shipped” via USPS, to the right home within the US. We apologize, with doggie passport restrictions, aka tariffs, he’s not cleared for travel outside the US.
