Central Florida Mutual Aid Needs Your Support!

Catastrophic flooding from Hurricane Ian completely destroyed dozens of homes in the working-class neighborhood of Orlo Vista. Residents have lost all their belongings, all their appliances, and all the food in their refrigerators and pantries. Their homes need significant repairs and mold remediation before residents can return.

Many residents are heartbroken that they are unable to host Thanksgiving in their homes this year — and have expressed a powerful longing to be able to move back into their houses in time for the holidays. While Central Florida Mutual Aid has an army of volunteers willing to do the work, we need significant financial solidarity to make this happen. We know that when our community comes together, we can do big things.
