The Confidence A Child Finds On Stage Lasts A Lifetime

Right now, our theatre is filled with energy, imagination, and joy as young performers rehearse, create, and grow together during our Summer Theatre Camps.

This summer culminates in two exciting youth productions: Madagascar Jr., a showcase performed by our youngest campers, and The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition performed by talented teens.

These productions are more than performances — they build confidence, forge friendships, and create memories that last a lifetime. This summer, Oceanside Theatre Company (OTC) will serve eighty students with this transformative experience, a third of whom receive full scholarships.

But our impact extends far beyond the summer. In 2026, through our free after-school theatre programs in partnership with three Oceanside Title I schools, our Fall Youth Academy, and the STAGES Apprenticeship Program for college students and emerging artists, OTC provides year-round opportunities that inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of artists.

Ticket sales alone cannot sustain this work.

$250 - Helps us to provide a partial scholarship so a child can attend Summer Theatre Camp and perform in Madagascar Jr. or The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition on the historic Brooks Theater main stage — a theatrical education many young performers

$500 - Helps bring a professional teaching artist into Oceanside schools, supporting free after-school theatre programs that build confidence, creativity, collaboration, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
$2,500 - Helps support year-round youth theatre education, including free after-school programs, the Fall Youth Academy, and resources for the STAGES apprenticeship program for college students and emerging artists.
$5,000 - Helps underwrite our Fall Youth Production, providing professional instruction, production support, costumes, sets, and the life-changing experience of performing on the historic Brooks Theater main stage.
