We are living in pivotal times — socially, politically, and culturally — and Chicago’s young people are on the frontlines right now. They’re documenting the world as it unfolds through their stories, their art, and their truth.

Our Voice, Activated! is a call to action for all of us to stand with them. When you invest in True Star, you are directing supporting young people in finding their voice, building their confidence, and learning how to use their creativity as a tool for impact and opportunity.

Your contribution powers paid apprenticeships, creative labs, and hands-on production that put real cameras, microphones, and media production opportunities in the hands of emerging youth creatives. Every dollar keeps young people creating, earning, and advancing. It pays youth for their talent, supports the campaigns and stories they produce, and builds portfolios that open doors to agency jobs, internships, and entrepreneurial opportunities across Chicago’s creative economy.
