Supporting veterans doesn’t stop when the uniform comes off. Every day, we work to ensure veterans in our community have access to the basic necessities they deserve — food, clothing, and support when times get tough.

Recently, our community came together in an incredible way. Through donations and local support, we collected hundreds of canned and dry food items that will go directly toward assembling care bags for veterans in need. These bags are thoughtfully packed with items like pasta, soups, peanut butter, rice, canned meat, snacks, and other essentials to help veterans facing food insecurity.

We assemble two types of care bags to meet different needs:

Honor Bags include shelf-stable food items that can help provide several meals.
Freedom Bags include ready-to-eat foods, snacks, drinks, and hygiene items designed for veterans who may be experiencing housing instability or living without reliable cooking access.

But food is only part of the need.

We are now raising funds to install a permanent clothing donation bin outside our post. This will create a year-round opportunity for the community to donate new clothing and shoes for veterans. Many veterans who reach out for assistance need simple things most people take for granted — warm clothing, socks, hygiene items, and everyday essentials.
