OOCSA, Ovalau Outrigger Canoe & Sailing Association, is a registered Fijian nonprofit based in Ovalau, Fiji, with a U.S. based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting its mission.

A donation to the Ovalau Outrigger Canoe & Sailing Association is more than a gift, it is an investment in the health, safety, education, and future of communities throughout Ovalau and the outer islands of Fiji’s Lomaiviti Group.

Through the generosity of our donors, OOCSA is able to bring programs, training, medical services, education, and essential supplies directly to communities that may otherwise have limited access to them.

Most importantly, 100% of all donations go directly toward supporting and expanding OOCSA’s growing initiatives. Every dollar donated helps us continue this work on the ground and reach more children, teenagers, families, and communities throughout Lomaiviti.

Your support helps us continue and expand initiatives including:

• The Loloma Box Program: Collecting and distributing medical supplies, clothing, school supplies, and food packs to families, children, schools, and communities in need.

• Fiji Cancer Society Outreach: Helping bring critical health services to the outer islands, including free breast and prostate cancer screenings, as well as HIV and HPV testing and awareness.

• Bella Girls Camp: Creating a safe and supportive environment for teenage girls while addressing issues including teenage pregnancy, drug awareness, personal safety, self-worth, and making healthy choices for their futures.

• Encounter 412 Youth Initiative: Supporting teenage boys and young men from across the Lomaiviti Group through drug awareness and prevention, HIV education, mental health conversations, mentorship, and positive community engagement.

• First Aid & Lifesaving Training: Providing young people with hands-on first aid, water safety, and lifesaving skills, along with certification that gives them knowledge they can use to protect their communities and opportunities they can carry into their futures.

What makes these programs so meaningful is that they are not simply about delivering aid. They are about giving people access to healthcare, education, training, opportunity, support, and sometimes something as simple as knowing that someone cares.

Every donation, regardless of size, helps us put another food pack into a family’s hands, provide another young person with lifesaving skills, bring important health screenings to another island community, or create a safe space where a teenager can learn, ask questions, and feel supported.

Your generosity becomes action. Your donation reaches real people, in real communities, and helps us continue showing up where we are needed most.

Vinaka Vakalevu!

Thank you for believing in this work and helping us continue to serve the people and communities of Lomaiviti.
