Happy Pride Season from all of the LGBTQ+ youth, young adults, staff, and volunteers here at Odyssey Youth Movement! Throughout June, our community gathers to celebrate, build community, honor our history, and dream of our future. Here at Odyssey, that dream includes a thriving community of LGBTQ+ young people

So far in 2026, Odyssey has…

Facilitated Drop-In Programs four nights a week, totaling more than 100 evenings of programming, resource referrals, meals, and community building at our drop-in center here in the Perry District.

Hit the road with two Drop-In Pop-Ups in Cheney and Spokane’s Hillyard neighborhood,bringing the resources and fun of Drop-In directly to LGBTQ+ youth throughout the community.

Hosted the annual Youth Queer Prom, A night of dancing, games, a live DJ, and more in a fully inclusive and affirming space, with over 100 teens in attendance representing more than 20 schools from throughout the region.

Provided Basic Need resources and hygiene supplies to hundreds of LGBTQ+ youth and their households. In addition, Dozens of youth participants received chest compression binders and lessons on how to bind safely.

Offered support to 25+ local GSAs through our Inclusive Schools program, providing art supplies, snacks, books, and guidance on creating LGBTQ+ affirming education spaces.

Looking forward, Odyssey has big plans for the rest of 2026, including offering additional Drop-In Pop-Ups in underserved zip codes, providing back-to-school supplies for LGBTQ+ teens, and ensuring that the Odyssey food pantry is well stocked all year round.
