Allison Rosen is a passionate advocate for patients, communities, policy reform, and research, with a special focus on the adolescent and young adult (AYA) community. With over 19 years of experience in Oncology, Allison's life took a dramatic turn at 32 when a colonoscopy revealed she had Stage 2C colorectal cancer. Twelve years later, cancer-free and thriving, she has committed herself to improving the patient experience. Allison actively volunteers on boards and committees, working to amplify awareness through social media, drive innovative outreach initiatives, and reshape how the healthcare system connects with the communities it serves. Her mission is clear: to use her voice and platform—both professionally and personally—to educate, advocate, and bridge the critical gap between patients and the healthcare system.
Being nominated for Cactus Cancer Society’s Young Adult Cancer Advocate of the Year award truly means the world to her. Their mission of ending isolation among young adults facing cancer by offering unique programing has allowed her to use her story to help others throughout their cancer journey. My goal over the next few weeks is to raise funds as well as awareness for the unique needs that AYA population faces.
My goal with my campaign is to share YOUR stories alongside mine to shed light on what AYA patients, survivors and caregivers go through before, during and after a cancer diagnosis, b/c EVERY story matters! My ask is simple, to get 1000 people to donate $1 so I can reach my goal. Will you help me build an ARMY of AYAs?

This picture represents my ostomy "Fill" and I first public appearance and the beginning of my journey in accepting my new body.

I have been given the honor to help teach medical students about colorectal cancer by sharing my story of being diagnosed as an AYA.

I always go BIG for colorectal cancer awareness month.

I use this giant inflatable colon every year to help with cancer prevention, screening and treatment education.

Without policy we cannot fund more research and cannot save more lives, so I when asked I testify.
Allison shares about her cancer journey and survivorship openly on social media in hopes of helping others realize they are not alone: https://www.tiktok.com/@alliso... https://www.instagram.com/alic... https://www.facebook.com/alica...
