In 2018, I heard some of the three scariest words anyone can hear in their lives, "You have cancer." Since then, I have been passionate about helping other young adult cancer patient and survivors in any way that I can. Cactus Cancer Society is an invaluable organization that provides much needed programs to support young adult cancer patients and survivors and brings about a sense of community in an isolating time in our lives.
