On Sunday, February 7, the Bonaventure Historical Society invites you to join us for a free guided history tour at 2 p.m. as part of the Georgia Historical Society‘s Super Museum Sunday.

Super Museum Sunday is held each year on Super Bowl Sunday. More than 100 museums across the state offer free programs and entry that day.

The Bonaventure Historical Society will have a special free history tour. It begins in the Colonial Monument Gardens section. Simply follow the blue signs or stop by the visitor center for directions. While the tour is free, space is limited. Reserve your spot today!

We would love for you and your friends to join us as our volunteer tour guides take you on a walking journey of history through our beloved cemetery. The tour is just over an hour. Parking is free within Bonaventure Cemetery. This walking tour traverses payment and gravel roads and is obviously held outside in the elements. Tours are typically only canceled for severe weather (lightning, hurricanes, snow, etc...)
