Escape the everyday and immerse yourself in the tranquility of Tecumseh Mill Pond on this relaxing nature-focused kayak trip. Perfect for beginners and nature enthusiasts alike, this gentle paddle offers a unique perspective on the pond's serene beauty and abundant wildlife.Our experienced guides will lead you through the calm waters, sharing insights into the local ecosystem. Keep your eyes peeled for graceful herons wading in the shallows, playful muskrats along the banks, and a variety of waterfowl gliding across the water's surface. We'll explore the pond's edges, discovering hidden coves and observing the fascinating interplay of plants and animals in their natural habitat.This trip is designed for a leisurely pace, allowing ample time for observation, and simply soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. Learn about the pond and its importance to the local environment while enjoying the gentle rhythm of paddling. This trip will be a out and back route.  All ages welcome. August 2nd, 2025 6-7pm Location: River Raisin at Indian Crossing trails - 703 E Chicago Blvd, Tecumseh, MI Cost: $10 Per Person *Kayaks can be rented for an additional $5 per person Cancellation Policy: In the event of low registration or severe weather, this event may be canceled. We will communicate any changes, including cancellations, via email to all registered participants and tickets will be refunded. If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us at least 24 hours before the event start time to receive a refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will not be refunded.
