Another round of flooding along the San Juan River has devastated Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Families have been evacuated, homes are swamped, and roads are washed out, leaving many unable to return home. For many, this is the second major flood in just two weeks, and some have lost everything and face a long road to recovery.

How EmergencyRV helps

Since 2018, EmergencyRV has placed RVs with families who’ve lost their homes to wildfires, hurricanes, and floods. An RV gives a family a safe, private place to live right on their own property, close to work, school, and community, while they get back on their feet.

A partnership built on the belief that one person can make a difference

EmergencyRV began when Woody Faircloth and his daughter Luna came together to help families displaced by the Camp Fire in California. What started as one family's effort to help another grew into a mission to bring safe, temporary shelter to disaster survivors across the country.

Today, we're proud to see that same spirit in Elijah, the 9-year-old founder of Penguin Pups in Pagosa Springs. Elijah is setting out to raise enough money to provide one family with an RV, and then keep going to help the next family.

It's a mission that feels close to home for us. Together, we’re turning his big idea into real homes for families who need them the most.

Our goal: Provide safe shelter to Pagosa Springs families, one RV at a time.

Give here or on Elijah’s page below; it all helps bring families home. Want to rally your own friends and family? Join our team and start your own fundraising page!

Donations are tax-deductible and go to EmergencyRV, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, for the Pagosa Springs recovery effort.
