Why your support matters now more than ever

In a time when misinformation targets our communities and press freedom faces constant threats, palabra stands for truth, integrity, and fair representation.

Created by the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ), palabra is built by us, for us. We are a bilingual newsroom dedicated to paying Latino journalists fairly, from emerging reporters publishing their first story to seasoned veterans delivering ground-breaking investigations.

We don’t answer to corporate interests or political agendas. We answer to you.

Help us reach our $15,000 goal!

Every dollar you give directly funds original stories, fair pay for freelance journalists, and fierce editorial independence for 2027.

Here’s how you can double your impact today:

Give once, monthly, or yearly: every gift makes a difference. (Cancel recurring donations anytime).
Your donation is 100% tax-deductible.
All gifts up to $1,000 per donor will be matched until we reach our $15,000 goal!

Truthful storytelling is only possible when our community stands behind it. Help us tell our own stories, in our own words.
