In the urgent debate over AI’s role in crisis support, one system is already delivering proven results. It does this without replacing human advocates; instead, it translates their trauma-informed principles into code.

Ruth is that system, an award-winning AI chat that offers tactical support to identify and navigate moments of crisis with safety and dignity.

A crisis doesn’t keep office hours. And Ruth doesn’t either.

When someone isn’t ready or able to speak to a person…
When it’s 2 am and confusion turns into fear…
When making a call could put them in danger…

Ruth is there.

And Ruth will never offer a diagnosis or therapy, but always refers to human help as needed.

The Verdict Is In: 52,775 Reasons to Believe

In our first year, including our collaboration with the National Domestic Violence Hotline where Ruth assists 1000 users a week, the impact is undeniable:

52,775 critical conversations initiated
445,000+ messages exchanged with survivors
Reached 159 countries (because violence has no borders; neither does our mission)
92% of users found Ruth helpful in their moment of need

Lives protected, supported, and guided toward safety.

A Ruth user shared:

“I am so thankful that I found this platform. I have been too afraid to talk to someone about my feelings, and using Al seemed a little easier to handle. Ruth made me feel so seen, and made me realize that my concerns were valid. I love that she gave me a plan to use when I start feeling this way again. I am just so happy that I could finally open up.”
