Parenting is challenging. Many of us feel stuck, unsure, or frustrated. Parents Talk is a six-week peer support series hosed by The Children’s Museum to foster a time where parents can share experiences, consider strategies, and feel heard.

Every week, we will host one or more guest experts: child psychologists, educators, and social advocates for healthy child development. As parents discuss challenges and possible solutions, experts will help unpack challenging questions and issues with the group, encourage helpful solutions, and offer further insights.

On November 17th, we will host Sondra Nelson, an early childhood teacher at Gathering Waters. She holds a Master’s in Public Health, a B.S. in Health Science, and is certified in Waldorf early childhood education.
