For a Greener, Healthier Baltimore

Picnic in the Park is Parks & People’s signature fundraising event, bringing our campus to life with live music, local vendors, entertainment, and community celebration. In 2025, together we raised more than $100,000 to support our mission of sparking wonder through play, education, and nature while building a community of environmental stewards for a healthier Baltimore—and with your help, we can grow our impact even further.

All proceeds support Parks & People’s programs, making summers unforgettable for rising 1st–5th graders at SuperKids Camp, where learning and fun come at no cost to families, providing hands-on environmental enrichment for Baltimore high school students through Branches, and advancing park projects across the city that benefit more than 100,000 Baltimore residents. During the event, we also honor three outstanding community leaders whose service and leadership reflect our commitment to people, parks, equity, and community.
