Help Parkside Elementary Create a Playground for All!

We are excited to announce our project, led by the newly formed Parkside Foundation, to update the playground located in the field to become accessible for all of our students, including those with severe disabilities. This initiative will ensure that every child, regardless of their abilities, can enjoy outdoor play, foster social connections, and benefit from physical activity in a safe and welcoming environment.

Why We Need Your Support:
Several students with disabilities enrolled at Parkside currently cannot access the playground, limiting their opportunities for fun, fresh air, and social interaction. By transforming the playground with multipurpose surfacing and specialized equipment—such as wheelchair-accessible play structures and ramps—we can provide a fully inclusive space where all children can participate, learn, and play together.

How You Can Help:
We need your support to make this vision a reality! Your donation—of any size—will help directly fund the purchase and installation of this new playground, ensuring that all of our students have access to the same opportunities for play and growth. Playground Timeline:
Our goal is to start installation in June/July 2025, ensuring all students can access and enjoy the playground for the start of the 2025-26 school year in August.
