In Nebraska, the conflicts between the parties have become stronger

over the years. Nebraska has a unicameral system, and many offices

are elected. We have invited Mary Truemper to discuss the current

climate in public policy, which is meant to be nonpartisan. However, that

is not always the case.

Mary Jane Truemper is Chairman of the Nebraska Republican Party.

She is an experienced Campaign Manager, political advisor, and

grassroots activist. As the former President of Omaha Liberty Ladies,

she oversaw its growth during her tenure, expanding its membership to

several hundred conservative women across Nebraska. She helped

relaunch the Ann Batchelder Republican Women’s Club in 2019 and

served as its Treasurer and then President. She served as an NEGOP

delegate to two Presidential GOP conventions and has been active in

numerous legislative and policy efforts in Nebraska.

Mary Jane earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology

from the Medical College of Georgia after attending the University of

Georgia on a Merit scholarship, and she was awarded an MBA from

Brenau University.
