Story
Your donation to the Paula J. Smith Scholarship Fund at The Eliot School supports vital arts programming for young Bostonians with stories to tell and talent to share.
Creativity is everywhere, but resources aren’t. The Eliot School aims to make meaningful connection and excellent arts instruction accessible to all who seek them, no matter their means. As a new round of recruitment begins for our Teen Bridge program, we’re thrilled to help another class of young people grow as artists, professionals, and vibrant members of their local communities. But we want to help even more.
Today, about 10% of our students attend on full scholarship. With your help, we know we can raise that number.
This scholarship’s namesake embodied the school’s mission to nurture creativity for all. Paula used the instruction she received to write, illustrate, and publish her children’s book, How to Hurry Up… Slowly, which celebrates the power of individuality.
Donate today to empower the Eliot School’s dedicated instructors to continue championing the individuality of each student that comes their way.
